Congrats! That was an awesome story. God it captures so much about having your first newborn. I love the passage about THE LOOK and my favorite part was the paragraph where he talks about how they only call him The Baby–as if he's a mythical creature. I laughed my behind off at that. I so related to all of this. Really, really well done. You got so very much into a short story. Very well written. Loved it!
