Musical Monday: Drowned

All of us have in our veins the exact same percentage of salt in our blood that exists in the ocean, and, therefore, we have salt in our blood, in our sweat, in our tears. We are tied to the ocean. And when we go back to the sea — whether it is to sail or to watch it — we are going back from whence we came. — John F. Kennedy, September, 1962

Let me flow into the ocean
Let me get back to the sea
Let me be stormy, let me be calm
Let the tide in, and set me free — Pete Townshend, Drowned

I love the ocean. It’s good to be back in it. I love this song. No video to go with it, but  great music. Enjoy.

  1. I missed your birthday?? Happy birthday!

I've always preferred visiting mountains to the ocean, but I love a sailor, so I guess Jack's quote applies to me as well. Just in a more round-about way.

  2. Birthday? I don't remember saying anything about my birthday! That's some time in the next month or so, I forget, but thank you, anyway. And thanks, all. Through the magic of scheduled posting I anticipated being in the ocean on Monday, and I was, indeed. And it felt great.
